Connected Lighting Specialist

Electra Sales Limited is seeking to hire a Connected Lighting Specialist to work directly with our customers in the specifying and servicing of new construction and remodel projects.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with specifying engineers and lighting designers.
  • Educate distributors, contractors and end-users on our lighting controls offerings.
  • Appear at counter days and trade-shows.
  • Troubleshoot lighting controls systems in the field and educate end-users on best practices for their new systems.
  • Propose extended service programs, extended warranties, and system solution sales.

Position Requirements:

  • Able to travel throughout the province of Saskatchewan.
  • Make cold calls to obtain new customers.
  • A strong background in Electrical Systems.
  • Must be able to review and understand lighting and electrical drawings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the technical details of lighting and lighting control systems.
  • Should possess strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, which will help the individual navigate different internal and external divisions.

Outside Sales Representative

Electra Sales Limited is seeking a new salesperson to join our dynamic team. The responsibility of a sales representative is to create and maintain relationships with our customers, including electrical contractors, electrical distributors, and end-users.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Promote new product sales and manufactures programs to our valued partners.
  • Travel the Southern half of Saskatchewan at least eight times a year to each of the major centers.
  • Educate and present our industry-leading products and solutions to our valued customers.
  • Attend tradeshows and counter days, as required.
